May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, and at Westfield Premier Physicians we would like to encourage our patients and their families to get moving!
This month reminds us how important it is to be active, as well as encourages us to seek out opportunities to move. It could be as simple as taking a family walk after dinner or going on a family bike ride (make sure to wear your helmets!).
Here is a pro tip, small tricks like parking far away from a store entrance can increase the number of steps you take in a day. Any time you move instead of sitting is beneficial.
